The head of state made a trip to address national troops in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he engaged with fighters at the command post of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya sector, a location approximately 12 miles from Pokrovsk.

Critical Situation in the Area

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project showed that invading troops had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it was not fully held by both forces. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that invading units were digging in and enhancing fortifications in some districts.

Russian forces are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.

Military experts observed that national troops had freed a large area of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya front, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk campaign.

Ukrainian Long-Range Assaults Within Russian Territory

National unmanned aircraft targeted a production facility approximately 1,300km inside Russian territory at the location. City administration confirmed a blast at the Sterlitamak facility that caused its water treatment facility to be compromised, adding that the reason for the blast was not known. The armed forces leadership stated there was extensive harm to the plant.

Addressing a European Union summit from the Pokrovsk area, the national leader also demanded more western sanctions on the federation – including on Russia's gas and nuclear sectors – and said he sought accession to the union before 2030.

International Support and Foreign Policy Changes

The European nation plans to raise its military aid to Ukraine by €3bn next year to about €11.5bn, the finance ministry in Berlin said on the start of the week. This comprises, among other things, artillery, unmanned aircraft, protected carriers and the exchange of missile defense equipment.
