Team—
I know you all just finished your town hall - I hope you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the good news. Last time I sent you all a update, I expressed the following: “I believe in this crew. You all are some of the most dedicated and innovative developers we have had the chance to partner with - and we’re looking forward for that partnership to endure.”
With your dedication and flexibility, especially over the past twelve months, you consistently demonstrate that.
The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game demo was enlightening. It affirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had improvements to make. It highlighted the requirement for a sharper brand.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve advanced. You accepted the criticism to consideration and reimagined the title with a refreshed vision - one that’s poised to achieve its promise to our audience.
The trust in this project strengthens every day. To boost the remarkable advancement you’ve made, It is a pleasure to announce the new hire as the incoming Studio Head of 31st Union. After some time of conversations, he starts with us on the specified date.
Ben’s guidance and background in the PVP shooter space is vast, having devoted the last 15 years creating and overseeing some of the most popular series in gaming, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops, and most recently, Apex Legends.
